1. Introduction and Scope
DaugDev Studio LLC ("DaugDev Studio," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website (the "Site") to share information about our web design and development services and to let visitors submit inquiries through our request form. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, how we use and protect it, and what choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits the Site or submits the request form.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit the request form, see "User Rights" below for how to contact us with any concerns.
2. Information We Collect
The Site is intentionally simple: it does not have user accounts, does not process payments, does not run advertising, and does not use analytics or tracking cookies. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to submit through our request form, plus a small amount of standard technical data collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure.
Information you provide through the request form:
- Full name
- Email address
- Business or company name (optional)
- The type of project you're inquiring about and your estimated budget range
- Any message content you include (project details, questions, or other information you choose to share)
- Your explicit agreement to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, recorded with a timestamp
Information collected automatically:
Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log standard technical information for security and reliability purposes, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps of requests. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, and we do not combine it with form submissions beyond what’s needed to operate the Site securely (for example, rate-limiting abusive form submissions).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit only to:
- Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about a potential project
- Keep an internal record of inquiries so we can follow up appropriately
- Maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the Site (for example, detecting spam or abusive submissions)
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable
We do not use your information for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to send unsolicited marketing you haven’t asked for.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/EEA and UK Visitors)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information under the following legal bases recognized by the GDPR and UK GDPR:
- Consent, you provide your information voluntarily and explicitly agree to this Privacy Policy before your submission is accepted.
- Legitimate interests, responding to business inquiries and keeping the Site secure are legitimate interests we pursue in a way that does not override your rights and freedoms.
5. Data Retention
We keep request-form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of business communications, generally no longer than 24 months from your submission date, unless a longer period is needed to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements. You may request earlier deletion at any time, see "User Rights" below.
6. Data Storage and Security
Request-form submissions are stored in a database on our website’s backend server and are also forwarded as an email notification to our business inbox so we can respond promptly. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers, access controls on our database and email systems, and industry-standard web-application security practices.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
7. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Site, and only to the extent necessary for them to provide that service:
- Website and application hosting providers, who host the Site and its backend infrastructure
- Our email provider (Google / Gmail), used to deliver inquiry notifications to our inbox
These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services on our behalf and are not authorized to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, such as in response to a valid legal process.
8. Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. The Site uses your browser’s local storage (not cookies) strictly to remember your own preferences on this device, such as a light/dark display preference, an optional visual-effect toggle, and, if you’ve previously agreed to this Privacy Policy through the request form, that choice for your convenience on a future visit. None of this is used to track you across other websites.
9. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and the infrastructure we use to operate the Site may process and store information in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country with data protection laws that differ from those of your home jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under applicable law for such transfers.
